Upon arrival you’ll be greeted by your personal wedding co-ordinator who will be ready to welcome you with a glass of Champagne. Typically you’ll then have a drinks reception either on our gorgeous lawn and terrace or inside the main building in inclement weather. This gives you the chance to mingle with your guests and allows lots of opportunity for photographs.
The Wedding Breakfast
We understand that every couple wants something different so we don’t have ‘set’ menus to choose from. Instead we’ll put you in touch with our chef will work with you to design a menu that fits perfectly with your day and your budget. See our Food and Drinks page for inspiration.
The Granary provides the perfect blank canvas for you to really personalise your day. As we don’t hold weddings on consecutive days, we are more flexible with allowing access to you and your suppliers the day before the wedding, meaning that, if you wish to, you can take your time setting up the venue and making sure that everything is just so. Many couples like to theme their weddings and go to a lot of effort to add details that make the space personal to them. We’ve had classic vintage themes, a country themed wedding complete with carts and gingham, a Disney themed wedding, a Las Vegas style wedding and many others. Of course if you’d like to keep it simple we’re happy to do the venue dressing for you. Your wedding co-ordinator will discuss your requirements with you and make sure everything is just as you’d imagined it would be.
The sky is the limit with regards to entertainment! We have no sound limiter and allow live entertainment both inside and outside the building. Our resident DJ is always included in our wedding packages or you are welcome to book your own DJ, band, string quartet, whatever you fancy!
We also allow fireworks and candles.
If you fancy arriving in style, we can accommodate helicopters, hot air balloons, buses, coaches, horse and carts. It’s YOUR day!
Whether you choose to hold your ceremony and reception at The Granary or just your reception, you’ll always have exclusive use of the whole venue, whether you’re having 20 or 200 guests. Depending on the size of your wedding party, the Fawsley Suite or The Barn will be just perfect for your reception and after-party.
