You will be sent a booking form which must be completed and returned, along with your deposit, within 2 weeks. Once we receive both your booking form and deposit, we will email you confirmation of your booking.
After your booking has been confirmed we will invite you to an initial meeting where we will discuss your day and you can start to make plans. You will then be invited to a final planning meeting six weeks before the day to finalise your numbers and ensure that we have all the correct information for your day to run smoothly. Up until this point any quotes you receive are subject to change and your confirmation remains a working document. After this meeting we can finalise and process your final invoice ready for payment as per our terms and conditions.

We offer regular open events and whilst these are predominantly to showcase the venue to prospective couples, we are more than happy for you to pop along with your bridal party to help gather ideas and visualise your day.
Access is permitted between 12 and 3pm where you can bring along any decorations, props and favours and dress the tables and barn.
One of the team will also go through your day in detail one final time to ensure everything runs smoothly.
As we are a fully operational hotel we cannot guarantee your room will be ready before 3pm. If you wish to get ready at The Granary, then we advise that you book the room the night before. You and your bridesmaids can enjoy a relaxed evening together and get ready at leisure on your wedding day.
We have a ‘prep’ area, with mirrors (and a wine fridge for that all important Prosecco) where you can have your hair and make up done.
Check in is at 3pm. We cannot guarantee rooms will be ready prior to this time as we must allow for check out and cleaning of the rooms. If you wish to guarantee the room before this time it must be booked and paid for the night before. Early check in may be available at £15.00 per room – upon request. This must be booked and paid for in advance.
The room prices are based on two people sharing with breakfast. When the third bed is used this will be charged as per the room booking form.
Check out is at 10.30am.
As part of your exclusive use package, all 10 rooms are automatically reserved for you and your wedding guests once we receive your booking form. You can then oversee who you would like to stay at The Granary. You must complete the room booking form which was sent with your confirmation so that we know who is in each room.
Yes, all resident guests are invited to breakfast with you. We can also accommodate guests who are not staying with us, please just let us know how many you would like at your final meeting. Extra guests are charged at £12 per person.
Yes, we do. However, any alcohol brought on to the premises is subject to a corkage charge. This can be between £1.50 and £5.00 depending on what the favour is. Please always check this before making any purchases.
We do not allow outside catering. You must use our in-house catering team for both the wedding breakfast and evening food. If there is something specific you would like which doesn’t appear on the menu then please do ask as we can tailor-make a menu or dish to suit your requirements.

Sparklers are not allowed.
Please ask the wedding coordinator if you wish to book or bring along these items. They may be subject to surcharges as per our terms and conditions depending on the level of service they require. You may also need to sign a disclaimer form that The Granary are not liable for any issues as a result of bringing these items on site. The Granary offers these services at reasonable prices please check with the team.
Yes. We would just need to the public liability insurance certificate.
Yes, we do. Your dog is welcome to attend your wedding with you. We have also had donkeys, a unicorn and horse and carts!
We can fit 52-seat coaches and traditional double decker buses down the driveway.
You will be invited to one of our taster evenings, where you will be offered a selection of small plates that are recommended by our resident chef.
If you would like a private taster session this is available to book for 4 guests at £100.00 upon selection of your chosen menu.
Our car park is suitable for 35 vehicles in total. We do have overflow lawn car parking for up to 50 additional vehicles. Car park attendants can be on hand during your daytime and evening guests arrival. We advise all clients book mini bus or coach services to collect guests from the Granary at the end of each event. The coach should be here and ready at midnight to depart at 12.15. Prior arrangement is vital when coaches are booked.
