After 15 years in the Civil Service, Donna’s career took a change of direction in 2012 when she took over The Granary with husband Glenn. Donna combines work with bringing up their 3 children and looks after The Granary’s marketing, social media and accounting. When she isn’t juggling work and family life, Donna enjoys running and is currently training for a half marathon.
Glenn took over the Granary with wife Donna in 2012. Glenn has used his 20 years experience in the events industry to build the wedding side of the business, which has grown rapidly in recent years. When he’s not hosting weddings, Glenn enjoys walking his chocolate Labrador and cooking vegetarian food.
Tom joined the Granary team in 2016 as our Front of House Manager. Tom is responsible for the hotel side of the business and is usually the face that greets our guests, all of whom love him! Rumour has it that Tom is a cracking cook and is partial to the odd glass of red wine.
Kaci is The Granary’s longest standing staff member and joined the team as a waitress in the Tea Room back in 2013. Kaci has since made the transition to the office as a wedding coordinator and spends her days showing round couples and organising weddings. Kaci is an ardent dog lover and her American cocker spaniel is a regular in the Granary office.
The newest member of the team, Julie joined The Granary in July 2019, bringing with her 25 years experience in the weddings and events industry. Julie has hit the ground running, booking in lots of weddings and is looking to expand The Granary’s events offering to other market sectors. Julie currently spends a lot of time travelling up and down the M1 to visit her daughter, who is studying at Leeds University.
